Here at Living Art Ball Pythons I strive to make sure every transaction is a positive one. Whether you a purchasing products or a snake, I aim to make this as smooth and easy as possible. I aim to answer every phone call, email and message promptly and will always treat customers with the upmost respect.
Although I do not sell snakes from the website you can see my terms and conditions which apply to the sale of my Ball Pythons here. There is a link to my Morphmarket Store where you can see and enquire to purchase my available Ball Pythons. Please note these terms and conditions do not extend to cover Morphmarket website. Ball Python Sales
All of my animals will be honestly represented and 100% healthy at the time of sale and delivery. Every effort will be made to properly sex all animals, but it must be acknowledged that despite best efforts mistakes can happen. It is your responsibility to check and confirm the sex of the animal upon delivery.
It is a customer’s responsibility to learn how to properly care for the animals they purchase. Living Art Ball Pythons cannot accept responsibility for a persons’ lack of knowledge or poor husbandry skills. I make every effort to ensure each customer purchasing a snake is equipped with the knowledge they require, and I have free downloadable care sheets on my website. I recommend customers keep their Ball Python as described on the care sheets, if you choose not to follow my recommendations that is the right of the customer however, I cannot accept any responsibility for any issues which then arise out of this. If Living Art Ball Pythons determines that a customer lacks the proper experience, knowledge or facilities to care for the animal, the sale will be refused. I refuse the right to refuse any sale for any reason I deem appropriate at any time. The health and welfare of my animals is my upmost priority.
All of my Ball Pythons are captive bred within my facility, all are guaranteed healthy and feeding well. Upon purchase all customers are given the snakes full records from date of hatching. These records include the genetics and sex of the snake, the genetics of the sire and dam, the hatching date, all feeds, sheds and weights.
If you are unhappy with any snake purchased, you must contact Living Art Ball Pythons within 24hours of receiving the animal.
Ball Python Genetic ID’s
Here at Living Art Ball Pythons we make every effort to correctly and precisely identify the genetics of every Ball Python hatched. I provide a 100% guarantee on all Ball pythons with up to three genes unless otherwise stated. However as more and more genes are added, new morphs are being worked with, and the rarity of some of these morphs, multiple gene snakes over three morphs may not be as clear to identify. This may lead to additional genes being present to the ID stated or genes not being present. In these cases, it is a theoretical identification which is an best educated guess based on past experience, the genetics of the sire and dam and of the siblings from the clutch and where applicable speaking with other breeders who also work with the morph/s. The only guarantee which anyone can make regarding Theoretical IDs is mistakes will happen, presumptions will on occasion prove false in either a positive way or a less desirable way.
Living Art Ball Pythons can only guarantee that multi-gene animals with a “Theoretical ID” will be identified to the best of my ability and I will NEVER intentionally mislead or deceive a customer regarding the genetic make-up of an animal.
Snake Purchase Payments and Payment Plans
I accept the following payment methods; bank transfer, PayPal or cash on collection.
No animal will leave my possession until payments have been received in full including any applicable courier fees. Once payment has been received in full I will book the animal onto the couriers next soonest delivery run.
I require a 25% non-refundable deposit to hold an animal. If payment is made in full straight away please note that 25% of this will be considered your non-refundable deposit should you chose to cancel the purchase before you animal has left my possession.
Once I have received the deposit to hold a snake I will then keep in contact with the customer providing regular updates (every 10-14 days) with details on weights, feedings, new photos etc. Customers can also contact me at any time with any questions they may have.
I offer interest free payment plans on all snakes with a value more than £200. All purchases under this value will be required to pay the full remaining balance within 4 weeks of placing the 25% non-refundable deposit. If the customer does not contact me or refuses to pay the final balance I reserve the right to cancel the sale. I will make every effort to contact and work with my customers to resolve any such issues but where this fails the sale will be cancelled and the customer will lose the deposit. The deposit covers the extra feeding costs incurred and care requirements during the holding period. During this holding period numerous other enquiries on the customers ‘snake on hold’ may be made and these sales will be refused therefore should a customer cancel their purchase we retain this deposit to compensate the sales we refused and the costs incurred as a result of refusing these sales.
Payment plans work with a 25% non-refundable deposit, the remaining balance is then spread over weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payments. The payment frequencies, dates and amounts will be discussed at the point of enquiry. I try to work with customers the best that I can to enable everyone to be able to purchase their dream snake. Upon completion of your payment plan we will arrange either the collection date and time or the courier booking. It is important that you stick to all agreed payment dates. If payments are more than 4 weeks late and the customer does not contact me or refuses to pay the payment plan instalment, I reserve the right to cancel the sale. As discussed above I will make every effort to contact and work with my customers to resolve any such issues but where this fails the sale will be cancelled and the customer will lose the deposit.
When the sale of a snake is agreed I will gather the following information from customers; Full name, Contact Number, Email address and full delivery address (where courier service is required). This information is required to make your courier booking. I will then send you an invoice containing the ID, date of birth and the genetics of the sire and dam. All of my payment details are provided on the invoice and the 25% non refundable deposit is required within 24hours of receiving the invoice unless otherwise agreed. Any payment plan agreements will be detailed on the invoice.
Courier Service offered within the U.K.
I use the Ridgeway Couriers to ship my animals. The courier fee to deliver to you will be quoted upon enquiry. We make the courier bookings on behalf of our customers and provide a discount on the booking fee making in cheaper than if you booked the snake directly with the courier yourself.
I will provide customers with the planned start date of the courier’s delivery run. Once I have made the booking with the courier service, I have no control over any the dates, time slots etc which are provided. The courier will contact you via text message approximately 5 days before the run start date, issuing with an exact delivery date and time slot. These dates and time slots are not negotiable.
If you are not home when your snake is delivered and you are uncontactable, the courier will move onto their next address and the snake will be held in their facility until you make contact with them to book the snake onto their next run, for which you will have to pay the courier fee again. If this situation occurs any guarantees I have provided are null and void as I have no control over what happens to the snake once it leaves my possession and frequent moves, missing feedings and being held with other animals in a holding facility increases the risks of stress and illness. This is not ideal and not what I want for my animals so either you or someone on your behalf needs to be there to take in the delivery.
